Adding a Skimmer: We feel that a Skimmer is the #1 most important component in pond construction. It pulls the debris off the surface of the water and into an easy to clean catch basket that also protects your pump. These can be added to ponds that have flexible liner fairly easily.

Adding a Pressurized Bio-Mechanical Bead Filter: An external pressurized filtration unit is the most effective way to obtain desired water clarity. These units have been specifically designed to provide the maximum amount of filtration with the minimum amount of cleaning necessary. They work by removing decaying matter and debris from the water feature while providing a place for beneficial bacteria’s to colonize and thrive. There are NO PADS to clean, just turn the handle!

Adding a Ultra Violet Sterilizing Light: UV has been used for many years to keep pond water clear. They are installed in your tubing line and as the water runs through the unit, the UV light sterilizes the single cell algae which is one of the major causes of the green water in a feature. It works best in conjunction with a pressurized filter, which removes the dying, decaying matter from the water feature. Recent technical advancements in UV units include self-cleaning models and also units that help prevent string algae.

Maintenance Plans: Falls by Fox, Inc. offers weekly, bi-monthly and monthly maintenance options for commercial and residential water feature owners. We are extremely experienced, professional and efficient. We offer a superior quality service at very reasonable rates.

Our Maintenance Plans: Debris Removal – All types of debris (Natural & Manmade) are removed from in and around the water features. Filter Cleaning – Regular cleaning of filtration units increases their efficiency and assist in the maintaining of a harmonious eco-system. Chemical & Bacterial Maintenance – Application of appropriate chemicals will be added in order to create/maintain a balanced eco-system. Note – When proper filtration is not present, an additional charge will be incurred for the use of stronger commercial grade algae eradicators. Water Levels – With every body of water, there is water loss due to evaporation into the air. We will monitor and add the appropriate amount of water when necessary. We will also deliver desired aquatic plants and/or specific Koi as an add-on feature to a maintenance plan.

Troubleshooting Service Calls: For a reasonable rate we can schedule one of our professionals to come out to your property and walk through your water feature with you. They will take a look at your feature and make recommendations concerning possible water loss, efficiency in current filtration components and possible upgrades. Upon approval of the recommendations provided to you by our representative, Falls by Fox, Inc. can perform any required repairs or desired updates quickly, professionally and at reasonable rates.

Also, if you are in the middle of constructing your own water feature and would like an expert opinion and recommendations on your progress we can provide that for the reasonable service fee as well.
